Lapicida annual review e-shot
Stone Specialist Lapicida understands the value of CRM and e-marketing. This piece is one of many e-shots I have written to keep their large database of subscribers up to speed on the latest innovations in natural stone.
Even by Lapicida standards, it’s been an astounding year. We opened in New York, took Decorex by storm, collaborated on critically acclaimed art pieces and completed numerous projects. This year was a complete blur!
On 15 October, we opened our flagship New York City showroom. Co-hosted by Jason Cherrington and Architectural Digest’s Margaret Russell, the U.S. design and architecture scene were there in force. We also doubled the size of our Kings Road London showroom by opening another floor and wowed the visitors at Decorex with the exhibition’s largest ever stand.
Lapicida continued to collaborate with leading artists and designers by realising several notable art projects. These included ‘Maro’, a 5m high marble wing, exhibited at Chatsworth House, by Christopher le Brun, jewellery designer Lara Bohinc’s ‘Solaris’ marble table and a limestone rooftop installation by Dan Graham at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Following high-end residential commissions, including for Blenheim Palace, Lapicida has completed notable retail projects for Hackett, V&A, Monaco Club and Drummonds. Designers and architects are now also appreciating quality in the commercial sector with NYC law firm Jones Day now enjoying Lapicida natural stone.
